Our Focus on Quality

Quality is at the heart of our mission statement: "Park Village Pines will provide excellent and affordable senior housing alternatives guided by Christian principles." This mission is at the heart of everything done on our campus.

  1. Continuous Improvement and Training — We are always seeking better ways to serve our residents. Our staff members meet regularly to assess methods and procedures, and ongoing training by professionals in the senior care and health care industries is offered. We listen to our residents and their families as part of our improvement process.

  2. Technology is used to ensure that each resident receives the best care. Extended Care Pro (ECP) software is a system that records and tracks all care activities in our community. It guides our employees as they complete the care plan for each resident.

  3. ECFA Certification — Park Village Pines has always been committed to the highest standard of financial accountability. Our certification by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) reflects our commitment to their " Standards of Responsible Stewardship™" which consist of financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance, and ethical fundraising.

  4. Licensed by the State of Michigan — Each of our facilities are licensed and in good standing with the State of Michigan's Department of Health Services, Bureau of Child and Adult Licensing (DHS-BCAL) agency. We have staff specifically tasked with monitoring our operations and ensuring our campus is in complete compliance with our licensing expectations. This commitment to quality and licensing holds us accountable to the governing and funding agencies in the State of Michigan and supports our culture of excellence in the care and services we provide to our residents. If you would like information about our licensing details, please contact Melissa Peebles, our Director of Resident Care, at melissapeebles@parkvillagepines.org.
